Who I am

Hi! My name is Marcus and I've spent the majority of my life around the game of baseball. As a player I played for the Florida State Seminoles before being drafted by the San Diego Padres. After my playing days ended I had the opportunity to coach high level high school, travel, and college summer baseball. I've both played with and coached a wide variety of talented college and professional baseball players. Through this journey I have landed on personalized hitting instruction. Equipped with tons of experience and multiple certifications I am ready to help the next wave of hitters sustain growth and success in baseball!

Let the little guys move! Young hitters are going to throw away ABs, swing at bad pitches, etc. Hitting’s hard. Coaching the athleticism out of a young hitter happens a lot these days. Then those same hitters spend their teenage years searching for ways to become a better athlete. Athlete 1st. Hitter 2nd.

With balance comes perspective. Good luck to ALL my college guys in uniform today!

Spend a little time with 2 feet on the ground. We use the ground to extend quality contact windows. Hitters don’t need perfect individuals swings so much as they need a large sample of quality swings. See well. Swing well.

Space to see well. Space to swing well. If a hitter can consistently take aggressive swings on pitches they see well then production will follow. Core velo belt ✅ Offset pitching machine ✅ FB/SL mix ✅ Cover all zones with authority. Keep your space🛸🛸🛸
